yeah, it was stalled, but not by my lack of interest, but because I had been waiting (too much, for sure) an anwer and help from the Squeak community. I'm still following the squeak-dev mailing lists, so I'm updated with latest changes in the vm and the etoys image, and the packages might be ready with a few hours of work.
