Package: policykit-1-gnome Version: 0.95-1 Severity: normal When I attempt to restart the system via gdm (System->Shut Down from the GNOME main menu), policykit tells me that other users are logged in and I must use the root password to be able to restart. In my case, I usually have a root terminal open on tty1, which is the other "user"
However, I can hit cancel and bypass this and the system still restarts. I am not sure where the problem lies, but I would think that policykit should interrupt the restart request if the root password is not entered. Best regards, Nathan A.
