It seems as though this problem will happen every time that there are deleted but unexpunged messages. If I have deleted but unexpunged messages, every time I open evolution, it will Fetch summary information for all messages from scratch. After it goes through that long process, if I click on any message, the messages will all go away and I will see the messages about no messages in this folder. If I expunge before clicking on any message, then I can click on messages and read them and they do not seem to go away. It seems as if Evolution gets brain dead when it has deleted but unexpunged messages.
As an additional note, I don't know if it is contributing to the problem but when evolution goes through the long process of Fetching the summary information, I get an Evolution Warning in the status bar. When I click on the warning, It says "Alert from IMAP server ...; Can't read attachment for message 118" Brent -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
