tags 10044 - help thanks After thinking about this, I have a plan, which is to provide two sets of files, one at /var/list to support upgrades from previous releases, and another one at /var/lib/smartlist for new installs. The multigram binary would be different for each set of files (the trick would be to hardcode /var/list and /var/lib/smartlist instead of '$HOME' as the "list directory" in the multigram binary). If this works, the real home directory for the user "list" would not matter at all.
The user who upgrade from a previous version would be responsible for moving the lists from /var/list to /var/lib/smartlist (if desired), but there would not be any hurry as both locations would be supported, at least in etch (and maybe in etch+1). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
