There have been a bug reported on mailing.unix.amavis-user google group on 2nd of September 2008 about nested MAIL command received from amavisd. Here is the link: http://groups.google.com/group/mailing.unix.amavis-user/browse_thread/thread/b52cc1b689fd665c We have faced the same problem with amavisd-new 2.6.1.dfsg-1 on up-to-date lenny. Did not find any report on debian lists, so figured maybe it is not fixed yet. There is a simple patch and workaround for postfix suggested.
