Hi all, I can confirm that adding -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true to the java aruments fixes the problem. For java applets that can be done using the jcontrol tool, or by editing ~/.java/deployment/deployment.properties directly.
For netbeans I had to add it to the netbeans config file for networking to start working again. Regards, Hylke
