gst-launch-0.10 playbin2 uri=file:///path/to/foo.avi containing xvid video fails to preroll (in totem as well), because playbin*/decodebin* try to use the ffdec_mpeg4_vdpau element instead of the ffdec_mpeg4 element. Both have a PRIMARY rank. Upstream git has a patch for this.
