Hello I've done several test and I found that this FTBFS bug happens only when building op-panel against ming-fonts-dejavu fonts. If I use other fdb fonts, the packages builds fine.
Also, ming package should include last patches commited to upstream CVS, that will fix other possible bugs that would affect op-panel.
