Package: hwinfo Version: 8.38-3 Severity: normal
I've used hwinfo frequently, ever since discovering it, to return accurate monitor refresh rates, and modes for use with vga= vesafb consoles. However, since switching to this AMD64 system, I've had zero output from my two commonly used commands. This is NOT and amd64 arch problem, as I receive output from my Athlon64 office machine (AGP ATI Radeon 9200SE) - just not on this one (PCIe GeForce 6800GT). I've also successfully used an AGP 6800 on i386 before, so I don't believe there's a problem with the higher-end nvidia cards. --Jo Shields -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-amd64-k8 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages hwinfo depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libsysfs1 1.2.0-5 interface library to sysfs -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
