I intend to orphan the halevt package. I regret that I havne't been properly looking after this package, and it deserves a better maintainer. The package description is: halevt is a daemon that acts as a policy agent on top of HAL. It listens to HAL events and reacts with user-configurable actions. It is a reimplementation of ivman project. .
