There is a circular dependency between spring-common and spring: spring-common :Depends: spring (>= 0.80.5.2-1), spring (<< 0.80.5.2-1.1~) spring :Depends: spring-common (= 0.80.5.2-1) Circular dependencies are known to cause problems during upgrade, so we should try to get rid of them. Since spring-common is a data package, it is quite likely it does not need actually to depend on spring and removing this dependency would remove the circular dependency, so I would suggest you do so.
