I just experienced a spurious lintian warning (watch file missing) on a newly created local native package with version (0.0.1). The warning disappears if I add a second revision (0.0.2) to debian/changelog, so native detection does not work for either (0.0.1) or the initial release of a native package (exactly one entry in debian/changelog). (Also happens with lintian 2.2.18 in testing.)
