I'll recheck.
BTW, the newer rtorrent should probably also depend on the newer
libtorrent11.
I first only did "aptitude install rtorrent" to upgrade it and it
did not pull in the newer libtorrent11 yielding off the charts
bandwidth readings and floating point errors when reading the old
session state.

After also updating libtorrent11 the bandwidth readings are back to
normal and it can load the old session state fine.
