Package: usb-modeswitch
Version: 1.0.5-1
Severity: normal
Since the upgrade to usb-modeswitch 1.0.5, it is no longer switched, even after
activating the rules by commenting out the GOTO="modeswitch_rules_end" at the
top of 80-usb_modeswitch.rules in /etc/udev/rules.d
I've added the logging in usb_modeswitch.tcl, and the only output I get back is:
# cat /var/log/usb_modeswitch
USB_ModeSwitch log from Tue Jan 05 19:51:20 CET 2010
raw args from udev: /1-1:1.0/////
----------------
USB values from udev:
manufacturer
product
serial
so it seems that udev is not passing all the args it should. I've been trying
to tinker with the rules, but nothing useful happened sofar.

the udev modem-modeswitch also doesn't work, but that's a separate bugreport.
