Package: enigmail Version: 2:0.95.0+1-4 Severity: normal
My key just expired and from then on I could not encrypt to adresses, for which a per-recipient rule existed (with the invalid/expired key). I could not change the per-recipient rule to use the new/valid key, since the window for the per-recipient rules did not open. So I only got a (lenghty) gpg error popup (commandline+error) about the unusable secret key. Editing the file pgprules.xml (and deleting all rules) in the profile dir solved the problem. File content after edit: <pgpRuleList> </pgpRuleList> It should be possible to change existing per-recipient rules from the menu, but this dialog is only available via compose mail and then did not work as expected. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages enigmail depends on: ii gnupg 1.4.9-3+lenny1 GNU privacy guard - a free PGP rep ii icedove 2.0.0.22-0lenny1 free/unbranded thunderbird mail/ne ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1.1 GCC support library ii libnspr4-0d 4.7.1-5 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1.1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 enigmail recommends no packages. enigmail suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
