Package: gsynaptics Version: 0.9.16-4 Severity: grave Coin,
Since the switch to xorg 7.5 and the synaptics driver update, gsynaptics is able to list my wanted settings but does not apply them. No error is reported. The SHM interface is mostly dead in the new driver version, but synclient has been updated and works well to change settings with the new mechanism. As gsynaptics-init says "Using synclient" at startup, i guess it should still work, but it doesn't.
