Hi, Could this patch be pushed into lenny-proposed-updates? It would seem to fit the description of a critical bug:
"makes unrelated software on the system (or the whole system) break, or causes serious data loss"... ... I think this bug can tick both of those boxes: . System hard-resets during boot, shutdown, and maintenance. . Resets during I/O operations could cause loss of data which is not yet commited to disk. . Resets during I/O operations can cause loss of data with the potential for more serious corruption with some filesystems.
