an upload of 6.12.1 (to unstable) is very close (a matter of days),
according to kaol on IRC.

The dynamic linking will not be used on Debian at the moment, as there
are no ABI guarantees and it would only entagle haskell _binaries_ (like
darcs, haddock etc.) in the tight-dependency-problem that only affects
-dev packages for now.

Greetings,
Joachim
