Package: rtorrent Version: 0.8.6-1 Severity: normal
rtorrent displays wrong numbers for the current upload/download rate. This applies for both the per file statistics and the global statistics. I.e. a rtorrent with no loaded torrents displays: 3143171.2/3143171.2 instead of: 0/0. Other data like -the size of the torrent-data or -the amount of uploaded or downloaded amount of data in MB -or the U/D-ratio are displayed correctly. The bug occurred with this version: rtorrent_0.8.6-1_powerpc. The previous version: rtorrent_0.8.5-2_powerpc does not show this error. The same libraries (see below) were used for both versions. The error occured while using rtorrent inside a screen-session. I cannot say if the error occurs without screen, didn't test this before downgrading. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) It's an embedded system, cat /proc/cpuinfo says: processor : 0 cpu : e300c3 clock : 333.333335MHz revision : 1.0 (pvr 8085 0010) bogomips : 66.56 timebase : 33333333 platform : MPC831x RDB model : MPC8313ERDB Kernel: Linux 2.6.26.5 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages rtorrent depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcurl3 7.19.7-1 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgcc1 1:4.4.2-8 GCC support library ii libncursesw5 5.7+20090803-2 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.0.18-2 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8k-7 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.4.2-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtorrent11 0.12.5-2 a C++ BitTorrent library by Raksha ii libxmlrpc-c3 1.06.27-1 A lightweight RPC library based on rtorrent recommends no packages.
