Package: pdns-backend-sqlite3
Version: 2.9.21.2-1
Severity: normal

/var/lib/powerdns/ is owned by root
/var/lib/powerdns/pdns.sqlite3 (created during post-inst) as well

both the directory and the file need to be writeable by pdns, otherwise the
superslave functionality will not work
there is just this error:

Nov 19 13:45:30 host pdns[20424]: Backend error: Database error trying to
insert new slave 'domain.tld': Error while retrieving SQLite query results

which does not lead to the cause of the problem. When searched with google,
there are only hints to try another backends.

Cheers,
Max
