The actual autocompletion was designed to be more adaptative to valgrind
improvement. It seems it is only source for errors.

The simple way to correct this bug is to edit 
/etc/bash_completion.d/valgrind

And replace the line 63
tools=`find /usr/lib/valgrind/x86-linux -executable -type f ...
by
tools="memcheck cachegrind callgrind massif helgrind lackey nulgrind"
