Until you upload your version I've put together an updated version, which is available at: <URL:http://greek0.net/~greek0/debian/packages/cogito> It's your debianized tree with the changes to the latest upstream version (0.12.1) merged in, conflicts resolved and #319869 and #313596 fixed. Perhaps it's helpful for you with putting together the updated version of cogito, or at least for others while they are waiting for you to finish :) I gave it an NMU version number, so a later upgrade to the official version will be seamless.
