Package: lxrandr Version: 0.1.1-2+b1 Severity: normal I'm on a laptop with an intel graphics controller, running up-to-date sid with lxde.
lspci reports the graphics card as: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02) with an external monitor plugged into the laptop's vga port, xrandr from a terminal emulator is able to extend the display across the two monitors, with a command like: xrandr --output VGA1 --above LVDS1 --auto but lxrandr only provides mirroring; that is, turning an external monitor on from the lxrandr dialog box doesn't appear to let me extend the desktop onto the new monitor -- it just makes the monitor display the same screen as the built-in screen. openbox (lxde's wm) has no difficulties working across multiple monitors, so i think the issue is mainly the lxrandr dialog box. Thanks for lxde, it's a great tool for making useless hardware useful again for graphically-oriented users.
