Hi Gerrit, as you can see David Riebenbauer provided a patch to convert dash.preinst to something not depending on /bin/sh. As far as I can tell applying this patch would not worsen the situation in any way, but it would make it easier to work on the bash package. Could you somehow answer to this bugreport?
