The official web site of IFrIT (which, BTW, has moved to http://sites.google.com/site/ifrithome/ : please update the homepage field) states that the software package is released under the terms of the GNU GPL v2. Indeed, some random checks on files extracted from the source code seem to confirm this. However, the debian/copyright file of the ifrit Debian package does not seem to include a "verbatim copy of [the] copyright and distribution license", as required by Debian Policy, section 4.5 (http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-source.html#s-dpkgcopyright).
