Sorry, I apparently missed that message of yours, back in December. I grabbed files from that place. Apparently pioneers-console.templates was replaced by pioneers-meta-server.templates. While the former had 9 strings, the latter has 7, but all of them were in the former file. As a consequence, from what I see, PO files are *not* fuzzied when "debconf-updatepo" is run. So, things are just a matter of adding the pending files (which you did) and running debconf-updatepo (which you did). In short, you can upload as is....
