Package: libpam-runtime Version: 1.1.0-4 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/sbin/pam-auth-update
I want to let users specify options to be used with a PAM module, using debconf. This means that I need to create the pam-config file from postinst. Writing the result to /usr/share/pam-configs feels wrong. It would be nice if pam-auth-update gave preference to files in /var/lib/pam-configs. E.g. if /var/lib/pam-configs/passwdqc existed, it would be used instead of /usr/share/pam-configs/passwdqc. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libpam-runtime depends on: ii debconf 1.5.28 Debian configuration management sy ii libpam-modules 1.1.0-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules f libpam-runtime recommends no packages. libpam-runtime suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[email protected]> Related projects: : :' : proud Debian developer http://debiansystem.info `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck http://vcs-pkg.org `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
