Hi,
sorry but I can't reproduce the problem with the attached file.

I can see that the message contains newlines where it shouldn't but it is fine,
mutt is only displaying what is in the actual message.

As soon as I exit from the message, hitting 'q', my display is still OK, the
mailbox doesn't contain anything else but everything seems fine.

Can you please provide us with a better way to reproduce the bug? :-)
