as mentioned on IRC, pango1.0 FTBFS if libgirepository1.0-dev is installed. One could think of passing --disable-introspection to ../configure, but introspection is actually only autodetected (if libgirepository1.0-dev is installed) and can't be turned off. The build fails this way: | GEN Pango-1.0.gir | ERROR: break.c: no such a file or directory I guess having a patch against configure.in to accept such an option would be nice, although having that package in Build-Conflicts in the meanwhile could prevent people from losing some time.
