Package: wicd-daemon Version: 1.7.0-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi, Since the last update wicd refuses to start : $ sudo /etc/init.d/wicd start Starting Network connection manager: wicd failed When I try to start wicd manually it seems some python packages are missing : $ wicd Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/wicd/daemon/wicd-daemon.py", line 61, in <module> from wicd.logfile import ManagedStdio ImportError: No module named logfile But python-wicd 1.7.0-2 is installed on my system. I have the same error on a non 64 architecture following the last update of the package. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages wicd-daemon depends on: ii adduser 3.112 add and remove users and groups ii dbus 1.2.16-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.28 Debian configuration management sy ii dhcp3-client 3.1.3-2 DHCP client ii iproute 20091226-1 networking and traffic control too ii iputils-ping 3:20071127-2 Tools to test the reachability of ii lsb-base 3.2-23 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii net-tools 1.60-23 The NET-3 networking toolkit ii psmisc 22.10-1 utilities that use the proc file s ii python 2.5.4-9 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-dbus 0.83.0-1+b1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-gobject 2.20.0-1+b1 Python bindings for the GObject li ii python-wicd 1.7.0-2 wired and wireless network manager ii wireless-tools 30~pre9-3 Tools for manipulating Linux Wirel ii wpasupplicant 0.6.9-3 client support for WPA and WPA2 (I Versions of packages wicd-daemon recommends: ii wicd-gtk [wicd-client] 1.7.0-2 wired and wireless network manager Versions of packages wicd-daemon suggests: ii pm-utils 1.2.6.1-3 utilities and scripts for power ma -- debconf information: * wicd/users: ustilago -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
