Could you please tell us the bug number. If you did not do it already with the bug report you mentioned in the beginning of your message, could you please submit a separate bug report for your issue. Before you do that you could read up on PulseAudio on their web site [2] where it is explained why they do certain things we find unintuitive [3]. Please also include in this report what options are selected in `gstreamer-properties`.
