Scenario: If /usr/share/texmf/fonts/type1/public/cm-super if missing breaks the pts-tetex-cm-super.postint script at line 6. It can't then find the cm-super.t1c within <path-to-fonts>/cm-super/ and therefore fails. Workaround: Let the package fail during installation. Create the cm-super path and extract the cm-super.t1c. Then remove the package via apt-get or dpkg.
