We need a copyright assignment for all commits to the main
software-center repository (just like the FSF requires that for all
gnu projects). So if you work on this, please see
http://www.canonical.com/contributors
its quick and painless

We have a distro class for this currently, we can add methods like
"get_main-window_title()" or similar there. I would love to be able to
have all this in trunk/ so that you do not have to distro-patch it.

I'm a bit short on time unfortunately help is needed. But I'm sure it
pays off in the longer term to integrate it in the code
instead of patching.

Cheers,
 Michael
