When I used mplayer without gui this never happened. When I downgraded from 1.0~rc3+svn20090405-1+b1 to 1.0~rc3+svn20090405-1 this crash never happened with gmplayer.
So I tried to reproduce the crash in gdb. And it didn't happen. I kept trying without success. If I didn't try in gdb then it was just a matter of seconds until I could reproduce the crash.
