Package: gnome-mount Version: 0.8-2 Severity: normal It looks like gnome-mount (or some other GNOME component) is just way too possessive about audio CDs: if I put a CD in the tray and close it, then wait 5 seconds, I am no longer able to open the disc tray by pressing the Eject button. My only option is to use the command-line tool or the Nautilus browser (which works only some of the time). If I use the commandline tool, a dialog box appears on the desktop saying "can't mount Audio Disc: no such device" (or something to that effect).
When I use E17 instead of GNOME, this does not happen; the eject button always works, even when I'm in the middle of ripping the CD. I also can't reproduce the behaviour in E17 by spawning g-s-d.
