Hi,
I followed your suggestion and modified my Mozilla configuration through the
about:config panel. Upon restarting the options still appear properly set, and
I've confirmed (with strace) that Mozilla can open libfreetype6.so, but I still
get the warning dialog and no fonts.
These are the settings I added both to Epiphany's and Mozilla browser's
prefs.js:
user_pref("font.FreeType2.enable", true);
user_pref("font.directory.truetype.1",
"/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType");
user_pref("font.directory.truetype.2", "/usr/share/fonts/truetype");
Both directories exist and have fonts in them.
Note that the system settings are still set to the defaults, but I expect this
overrides them.
