The psql_replication_check.pl script included in the package is great. And it could work as a Nagios3 plugin except it includes an __END__ section which is not supported by Nagios3's embedded Perl interpreter. Since Nagios loads plugins inside other perl code, the code fails with error messages like this: Warning: Check of service 'PHWK_Slony Subscriber' on host 'private.example.com' did not exit properly! The easiest solution would be to follow the instructions at http://tracker.nagios.org/view.php?id=89 and add the line # nagios: -epn to about line 9 in the script.
