Package: yarssr Version: 0.2.2-5 Severity: important
The powers at Gnome decided (in mid-2009) that by default menus would not show icons. It appears that Yarssr relies somewhat heavily on these icons (perhaps that justifies "Important" status?). You use icons well; now you need to turn them on manually. See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=557469 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=583352 Workaround: gconftool-2 --type bool --set /desktop/gnome/interface/menus_have_icons true Yup, that fixes yarssr. But as it's not the default, yarssr is broken until your users track down Gnome bug 557469. And then there may be... unexpected consequences...
