the manpage of tdbbackup itself claims that the tool should run in the samba
startup script to verify the tdb files. if the tdb files not dumped there is
no way of rescue the system. other packages like cyrus provide nice tools
which allows the user to simple dump all the databases to get an valid state
disk.
