Package: dovecot-common Version: 1:1.2.10-1~bpo50+1 Severity: minor
Hi, the default configuration file /usr/share/dovecot/dovecot.conf, and thus /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf by virtue of being copied there by postinst, contains this line (777): #sendmail_path = /usr/lib/sendmail I'd like to see this changed to #sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail as /usr/lib/sendmail has been deprecated maybe 5 to 10 years ago and is only a symlink to /usr/sbin/sendmail, anyway. I gather that this might be an upstream issue (wrong default path compiled in), too. One less program to maintain that symlink for...
