I never saw sucha behaviour. Is it possible that you loose connection or
that you computer went to sleep while you were idle?
This is possible. It is a laptop.
Note, by the way, that all the Gajim settings pertaining to integration
with netwokr-manager are enabled, and that still isn't helping (even
though I do use n-m)
