Hi.
As far as I could find out (ip-sysctl.txt from the kernel documentation)...:
IPv6 has no global variables such as tcp_*. tcp_* settings
under ipv4/ also apply to IPv6 [XXX?].
...net.ipv4.tcp_syncookies applies to both ipv4 and ipv6.
The name is however very misleading as it contains "ipv4" so may I
recommend to add a comment that this applies to both protocols?
