Well, the logfile gets rotated to foo.0, then foo.1.gz, foo.2.gz, blah, blah and then removed. Now we have no logfiles left, and logrotate will barf (again). The problem is (which I did not think about when discussing the issue with you in MG and while writing the patches): how does one tell logrotate that it should not execute a rule, because the package is removed?
