According to my aptitude log the only interesting change is: [ÎNNOIRE] openssl 0.9.8m-1 -> 0.9.8m-2 but I rolled back to 0.9.m-1 and I get the same symptoms (I can provide the full log since installing dovecot if needed). Please advise if you need more info.
