Package: chrony Version: 1.23-7 Severity: normal I just upgraded from 1.23-6 to 1.23-7, and the new version no longer supports regulating hardware real-time clocks. I have the rtcfile directive set in /etc/chrony/chrony.conf, but after the upgrade, the "chronyc rtcdata" command returns:
513 No RTC driver Please re-enable RTC support in the next revision. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (300, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.33 (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages chrony depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libreadline5 5.2-7 GNU readline and history libraries ii timelimit 1.5-1 Simple utility to limit a process' ii ucf 3.0025 Update Configuration File: preserv Versions of packages chrony recommends: ii udev 151-2 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo chrony suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Chuan-kai Lin http://web.cecs.pdx.edu/~cklin/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
