I have a Windows XP guest configured to use the same resolution as the host, so that it fits nicely on the display when running in fullscreen. This used to work with KVM-85, but after upgrading to qemu-kvm I get: QEMU 0.12.3 monitor - type 'help' for more information (qemu) Could not open SDL display which AFAIK is the expected result if you have a guest with a resolution *higher* than the host. This is not the case here. The guest resolution matches the host exactly (both are running 1440x900). Running in windowed mode works, but I really like letting the guest use the full LCD panel from time to time.
