Olivier, The source package is named coherence, the binary package is named python-coherence. AFAIC the naming is correct and complies with Debian Python Policy, Section 2.2[1].
Just out of curiosity what is to be gained by splitting the package? Just a name change??? I will take this up with upstream and see if this is something he may be interested in doing, but to be honest IMHO I feel he will decline to implement this.
