Hi!
Any news about this issue, please?
With this circular dependency, it's not possible to remove the dummy gs-common
package from the system (if it's dummy, then it should be removable):
# LC_ALL=C aptitude purge gs-common
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Reading extended state information... Done
Initializing package states... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
gs-common{p}
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 4 not upgraded.
Need to get 0B of archives. After unpacking 106kB will be freed.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ghostscript: Depends: gs-common (>= 8.63.dfsg.1-1) but it is not going to be
installed.
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:
Remove the following packages:
1) ghostscript
2) ghostscript-x
Tier: Safe actions, Remove packages (10000)
Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?]
Thank you!
Best regards,
Nelson
