Package: gpsd Version: 2.92-1 Severity: important The version 2.92 of gpsd breaks the API / protocol. Moreover the protocol change has not been announced on the gpsd announce mailing list and should only happen with a bump of the major version.
The protocol has been around for years and tangoGPS is certainly one of the major apps using it. It is a hassle for users to run into incompatibilities here. See bug #573848 for a bug filed against tangoGPS.
