Hi,

#314519 notified me of the fact that libgtk2-perl, which I only uploaded
for powerpc, was unstripped on i386. As this problem doesn't exist on
other archs (and the same happened with the next release, 1.083-1), I
think that the problem is on the buildd system. The build log shows
this:
dh_strip -a
strip: unable to copy file 
'debian/libgtk2-perl/usr/lib/perl5/auto/Gtk2/Gtk2.so' reason: Permission denied

I asked Martin Zobel-Helas to do a test-build of the package on i386. He
couldn't reproduce the problem on his system (build log attached).

It would be nice if you could check if the problem is really on the
buildd side.
